Phi Kappa Sigma International
A national brotherhood rooted in tradition, honor, and global reach since 1850.
One Fraternity. Global Commitment.
Phi Kappa Sigma was founded at the University of Pennsylvania in 1850, making us one of the oldest and most respected fraternities in North America. Our commitment to leadership and character development transcends college—it's a lifelong pledge.
The Sigma Chapter proudly operates under the guidance and support of the Grand Chapter, ensuring national consistency in governance, ethical standards, and educational programming.
Our Enduring Legacy
Founded 1850
Established by Dr. Samuel Brown Wylie Mitchell at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on intellectual growth and ethical leadership.
The 1860 Stand
