Alumni Corporation
Our Commitment to Perpetuity.
The Sigma Alumni Corporation (SAC) is a separate, registered non-profit entity dedicated to supporting the Sigma Chapter's mission. We ensure the stability of the chapter house and provide the financial backing for key educational and leadership programs, guaranteeing the fraternity's existence for decades to come.
Governance & Purpose
The SAC's primary function is to manage and maintain the corporate assets of the Sigma Chapter, primarily the chapter house property and the operating budget. This oversight ensures the undergraduate members can focus entirely on brotherhood, scholarship, and community service.
- Provide Housing and Facilities
- Manage Financial and Tax Compliance
- Advise and Mentor Undergraduate Leaders
- Ensure Chapter Longevity and Continuity
Housing Corporation History
The Housing Corporation was formally chartered in 1940 to secure a long-term home for the Sigma Chapter. The acquisition of the property at 2402 Rio Grande St was a pivotal moment, supported entirely by gifts and pledges from dedicated alumni.
This legacy continues today, allowing the Chapter to operate from one of the most prominent addresses on the UT campus.
